Halcyon Days Handel’s ‘Water Music’ Musical Box – MADE TO ORDER Size: In honour of the 300th anniversary of the composition of HandelÕs ‘Water Music’ Halcyon Days has created this beautiful, handcrafted musical box which suitably plays the collection of exquisite orchestral movements when opened. First heard on 17th July 1717, the ‘Water Music’ was composed in response to King George I’s request for a concert on the river Thames. The King watched from the royal barge as 50 musicians played.
